Norway Spruce
A fast-growing evergreen with dense, dark green foliage and a strong pyramidal form. Its graceful, drooping branchesprovide a natural, refined appearance that adds year-round structure and beauty to any landscape.
At Tollgate Trees, our Norway Spruce are not sheared or shaped, allowing them to grow naturally for maximum height and vigor. They are cultivated to develop quickly and maintain a single, dominant leader, which is carefully protected to ensure strong, upright growth and a well-balanced form.
Ideal for windbreaks, privacy screens, and large-scale landscape plantings, the Norway Spruce is a reliable choice for both performance and appearance.
Picea abies
The Norway Spruce is a fast-growing, evergreen conifer that can reach 60–100 feet in height with a conical form and drooping branchlets. It has dark green needles and produces brown cones 4–6 inches long. Norway Spruce grows best in full sun and moist, well-drained soils, but it is tolerant of a range of conditions. It is frequently used for windbreaks, screening, and reforestation due to its dense foliage and adaptability
